Rapid Prototyping
779 days old /Just received the Rapid Prototyping (RP) models from 3D Art To Part (www.3darttopart.com). I used to work with SLA models in the past when I was worked for Mattel. However, this is my first time utilizing RP modeling for Crazy Label. Enclosed is a picture of the RP model of Seamour sheep and Marty mole. Boy are they look awesome!
The services from 3D Art To Part is excellent! I placed my order on 9/23 and they were ready to ship on 9/30. Including air-shipment the total turnaround time is just 12 days! The process was also straightforward, I uploaded my object files to their web site and they emailed back the quotation in a few days. I don’t know if they are employing different RP modeling technique or not but their price is just 1/2 of my local vendor. Jesus!
When compared with the SLA models I used to work with in the past, the models from 3D Art To Part are rougher and it seems to me they are solid inside, but ironically it is very lightweight. This leads me to believe that they are using lower density material than the traditional RP models which came in hollow with finer surface finish.
All in all, the cost, quality, service from 3D Art To Part exceeded my expectation and I highly recommend you to have a look!
