The crew were originally involved in music and video production before
turning their focus to street-art style illustration and art in 2002. Having organised a number of events on the prestigious Brick Lane in Central London, and taking part in the Street-Art corner for the Sprite Urban Games in 2005, Selph and Philfy moved back to Hong-Kong to re-establish the crew on Asian turf, where the inception of the ESPcrew can be accredited.

In the last 6 months the team has been busy working on a number of projects, though the majority has been undertaken in Hong-Kong by Selph and Philfy. In London, Dkoda has just finished his first short motion-graphic animation, and Irie has been taking the club scene by storm with his music production and DJ skills.

The most exciting project to date?…Customised limited edition ESPvisuals TAMO toys in conjunction with Andy Woo from Crazy Label Toys, based in Hong-Kong!!! A dream come true for the crew!!! This limited edition set is due to be launched at the Hong-Kong Toy festival in November, where there will be the opportunity to meet and watch the ESPVisuals crew in action. Rumour has it that Hong-Kong could even see Irie and Dkoda crossing the seas to join Philfy and Selph for a live art exhibition!!!

The future? With Selph returning to the UK in September, it is likely that the London scene will witness an ESP revival, lead mainly by Irie and Selph. Dkoda is keen to venture into new horizons, taking the illustrative styles and characters of his co-members and combining them to produce the first ESPvisuals animation. Philfy will remain in Hong-Kong, representing where and when he can, and collaborating with the crew in London on large scale projects.
