Veggiesomething (aka James Liu) is a designer and a musician based out of Chicago, Illinois (USA). He was born in Pingtung, Taiwan and have loved both design and music for as long as he could remember. His designs have been seen throughout the world via numerous art shows and have been featured in various publications and media outlets. His musical endeavors can be heard via the efforts of his previous bands XendureX and Dolorous Canter. He is currently a member of the band For What You Thought Was Once Dead and continues to create music as a solo artist under the moniker Longsleeves For The Summer. Thus far, Veggiesomething has created two character lines: FIZZIEFUZZIE and House of Liu. The design for these two character lines highlights Veggiesomething’s love for modular designs that are bold, clean, clear, and concise. FIZZIEFUZZIE is gang of animal characters with real personalities that are wacky and offbeat. The character line was created in hopes of reminding everyone to embrace people’s uniqueness and differences. The themesong for FIZZIEFUZZIE was written and performed by Longsleeves For The Summer.
House of Liu , on the other hand, is a story of friendship, loyalty, and revenge. The story takes place during the Qing Dynasty in China and was created as a homage to all the martial arts movies that Veggiesomething has watched and enjoyed over the years.
