Peskimo is David and Jodie, a pair of monster loving drawers. As Peskimo,
they have been illustrating and animating their creations together since
2002 all over the world, and the monsters have followed.

Peskimo have leant their offerings to a range of media from Toys and
Canvases to T-shirts and TV screens. Past clients include MTV, Sony PSP,
Computer Arts and Poketo; they’ve had their works published in Creative
Review, Faesthetic, Pictoplasma and various other coffee table compendiums.

When not working to other peoples deadlines, they like to create their own
prints, toys and art. Customising vinyl toys, screen printing limited
artwork and sewing up plush beings are some of their favourite past-times.
They have also curated an exhibition, Welcome to The Monster Mash, which
resulted in a special pack of monster based cards bringing together
illustrators from all over the UK.

Peskimo’s character design and illustration is inspired by cartoons, vintage
graphic design and the oddities of everyday life. It is essentially happy,
but lurking behind the bold colours and happy smiles, you may find a spot of
bother lurking behind the corner, but don’t worry, the good guys usually
win.
